Zhengzhou University (GMU) established in the year 1956. Zhengzhou University is one of the biggest medical university in China. In the year 2000, three former university (Zhengzhou University, Henan Medical University, and Zhengzhou University of Technology) has been merged to become a newly established Zhengzhou University. It recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. Zhengzhou University currently has four campuses covering 1070 acres of land across Zhengzhou City. The main campus covers 799 acres of land on Science Avenue and Changchun Road in the North-West area of Zhengzhou City. It is one of the most wonderful campus in China. Zhengzhou University has formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good teaching staff. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. There are 47 Schools and 9 affiliated hospitals in Zhengzhou University. The quantity of staff is more than 6,000, 4000 academic members, 33 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Science and Engineering (10 full-time, 22 part-time and 3 overseas), 670 professors, and 1,600 associate professors. In the year 2016, there are around 55,000 undergrad students, 15,000 graduate students and 1,800 foreign students studying at Zhengzhou University.
