This is a non-profitable private medical school that was established in 2011 in Bangladesh. The main campus of the college is located beside the Dhaka-Aricha Highway at Monno City, Gilando under Ghior Upazila in the district of Manikganj of Dhaka division and it is affiliated with the University of Dhaka.It gives a 5-year course program which leads to a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree, and a one-year internship after completing the course is compulsory. The degree of the college is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The internship is compulsory for obtaining the registration from the BMDC to practice medicine.

The college is located in the Monno city, Ghior Upazila which is 7 km west of Manikganj, on the south side of Dhaka-Aricha Highway. The academic building of the college is ten-storied and there are separate hostels for students, interns, doctors, and professors which includes separation in dormitories via boys and girls as well. The hospital is 5 storied and 500 seated.
As a constituent college, it is affiliated with Dhaka University and the chairman of the college is Afroza Khan Rita. The principal of the college is Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman.
In the college, there are 4 lecture galleries with a computer multimedia projector, 7 laboratories, 3 museums, 1 dissection room, 1 library, and 1 computer lab for the students.
For students, there are 4 storied hostels which named as H.R.Khan Boys Hostel and Hurun Nahar Girls Hostel. Besides this, there is an Abdus Shukur Khan Doctors dormitory for male-interns, and for female-interns, there is a Rabeya Khatun Doctors Dormitory. Moreover, there are quarters named H.R. Khan Doctor’s quarter and Mono Professors Doctor quarter respectively.
Admission procedure for Bangladesh students is conducted centrally by the Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) in all the medical college (private or government). There is a written multi-choice question exam and candidates are selected on the basis of the score of this test by adding the grades of their secondary school certificate and higher secondary school certificate. The college is allowed to admit 80 students annually in which 50% are foreigners as of December 2017.
