• SPM/ O Levels or its equivalent; 5 Bs each in: Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics; and Mathematics/Additional Mathematics; and another subject
• UEC: B4 each in 3 subjects in Biology; and Chemistry; and Physics/Mathematics/Advanced Mathematics.

• The minimum age requirement for entry into a medical programme is 18 years old during admissions.
• Malaysian citizen seeking employment in the public sector must fulfil the criteria set by the Public Services Commission of Malaysia (SPA).
• A person with any of the following shall be disqualified from entry into a medical programme:

1. found guilty of offence(s) affecting the human body; and/or
2. recent or serious dishonesty e.g., cheating at examinations, falsification of documents, plagiarism; and/or
3. serious physical or mental illness; and/or
4. serious communicable disease(s).
