In the world, Bangladesh is densely populated with a population of about 160 million and it is having a unique health care system which starts from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) in the capital to Health Assistant at the grass-root level but due to shortage of budget the service coverage is not adequate and uniform throughout the country. For Bangladesh, it is very important to privatization its health care services. And with this feeling, MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College established in 2010 with the permission of MOH&FW of Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh & University of Dhaka.
This college has taken steps to fulfill this gap and aspiration of the students in the prevailing situation and there is a 500 bedded teaching hospital attached to MH Samorita Medical College which is well-equipped and delivering both general and specialized services including ICU, CCU, NICU, HDU & Dialysis unit.
Its mission is to establish this college and hospital as a center of excellence by keeping its quality, cost, and satisfaction of all stakeholders and with great respect to their cultures and values. By winning from these challenges, this college passes over 4 years and now the college has gained the confidence to become capable to educate national and foreign students. The college intends admission of students from other countries from the last session.
College gives an opportunity for students to learn and practice for long five years and come out as a physician who will serve mankind with deep care and competence.
