Lady Hardinge Medical College is an all-girl College established in 1916. It offers courses in MBBS, MD/MS. College is affiliated to University of Delhi. LHMC has a bed strength of 877 beds in Smt. S.K. Hospital and 377 beds in Kalawati Saran Children Hospital. LHMC have Department of – Anatomy, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Radiation oncology. LHMC is well known for its best teaching faculty with around 37 Professors, 43 Assistant and Associate Professors.

Hostels are divided into 4 Blocks the North Block, the South Block, the Centenary Block, Block, Block West. The rooms are assigned to single/double/triple sharing as per hostel rules. The hostel has a private mess and dining hall. The Mess is run by the residents of the Hostel on ‘no profit, no loss’ basis. The hostel also hosts in-house facilities for encouraging sports hygiene in students, recreation room for students for enjoying media and organizing their festivities and get-togethers. There is dedicated round the clock security system for monitoring the safety of students, potable drinking water supply safeguarded by R.O.System and hygienic washroom facilities with modern amenities.
