Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU)
Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU) was established in 1805 as Medical faculty of Kharkiv University. It was later renamed Kharkiv State Medical University and presently is known as Kharkiv National Medical University (KNMU). The university is providing top-class infrastructure for its MBBS students and also quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the university is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its students. The institute has various other activity centers in the campus like gym, separate sports complex, etc. The University believes in the overall development of every MBBS student and thus organizes various personality development programs such as Seminars, Debates, Conferences, and Student Exchange programs. Apart from personality development programs, the University organizes various sports and cultural events and also encourages MBBS students to partake in these activities.
The university has modern buildings for medical teaching process and for the hostels. All the MBBS students of the graduate and post-graduate stages of
training are provided with hostels. The University has 65 departments. The departments are
equipped with modern classrooms and have all the opportunities for high-quality
training of students. KNMU is one of the best medical universities in Ukraine for global students to study medicine in Ukraine. The degree of MBBS of KNMU is esteemed and it is recognized everywhere throughout the world. The university has been effectively preparing medical students and medical experts from throughout the world since 1961. Since 1951 the University has been training doctors for various countries of Europe, Asia, Africa.
As of now, 4600 foreign medical students study at KNMU (Medical/Dentistry/Pharmacy Faculties, and PG course). For the record, more than 7500 international students have graduated from KNMU since 1951. The University is preparing medical personnel for countries of Eastern Europe, China, and Mongolia, and since 1961 it has been preparing MBBS students from other countries of Asia, Africa, and Latin America. At present, around 3400 international medical students in the Kharkiv National Medical University who study at the Preparatory Department, Medical, Nursing, and Dental Faculties, undergo postgraduate and clinical post-graduate (residency) courses as well as professional probation at departments of the University in dental, therapy, orthopedics, surgery, oncology, urology, psychiatry, ophthalmology, obstetrics, and gynecology, as well as other medical specialties. The University has trained more than 5000 specialists for 86 states of Europe, Asia, Latin America, Middle East countries. Among them, there are 3 Doctors and 70 Candidates of Medical Science, around 200 clinical post-graduates.

Federation); Vilnius University (Republic of Lithuania), Otto von Guericke
Magdeburg University (Federal Republic of Germany), memorandum of cooperation
with Professional Hypnosis Training Institute (Poland), Poznan University of
Medical Sciences (Poland), Institute of Physiology of the Academy of Sciences
of the Czech Republic, Tajik State Medical University (Tajik Republic),
Yeditepe University (Turkish Republic), and many more.
