Jiangsu University

Jiangsu University established in the year 1902 as a part of Sanjiang Normal University. Jiangsu University is one of the biggest medical university in China. It is a national key university in China. The university’s undergrad teaching was graded magnificent by the Ministry of Education in the year 2004. It was recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. Jiangsu University has formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good teaching staff. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the world market.

The university is providing the best infrastructure for its students and the quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the university is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its students. The institute has various other activity centers in the campus like gym, separate sports complex, etc. The University believes in the overall development of every student and thus organizes various personality development programs such as Seminars, Debates, Conferences and Student Exchange programs. Apart from personality development programs, the University organizes various sports and cultural events and also encourages students to partake in these activities.

Jiangsu University is offering a low-cost medicine program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. JSU offers 88 undergrad programs, 170 master projects, and 42 Ph.D. programs in 10 academic fields: Engineering, Science, Management, Economics, Medicine, Law, Education, Literature, Art and History. The university has 13 post-doctoral research stations. JSU has 5,763 staff individuals (including those of Affiliated Hospital). 2,475 are faculty members, including 450 professors. 54% of them have Ph.D. degrees and over 24% have an understanding of the overseas study. The present total enlistment of full-time students adds up to more than 33,000, including 10,000 postgraduates, 1000 international students from 74 different countries. Jingjiang College of Jiangsu University has an enlistment of around 10000 full-time students. JSU gives priorities to the internationalization of the education, encourage faculty members and students to go foreign countries for further studies, inviting more global talents to join us for mutual benefits, promoting international research collaboration as well as recruiting more foreign students.

Jiangsu University has signed institutional cooperation agreements with 128 universities in 33 nations and regions. The Confucius Institute co-built by JSU and Graz University of Austria has been working smoothly since October 2010. It is the opening of the collaborative Chinese-German Language and Culture Center.

Eligibility criteria: - Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with a minimum of 70% marks with PCB (physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board. Age should be between 18 - 25 years. Admission: - Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET). Minimum 240 marks is required in NEET 2020 Exam.

3. A&W Scholarship

A&W Scholarship is sponsored by Anxin Flooring Company (Shanghai) L.T.D., which is specially set for international students who have good character and enterprising spirit. A&W Scholarship support 20 students annually and the funding amount is 5,000 Yuan (RMB).

OTHER FACILITIES

Library: - The university has a library with a construction area of 52 thousand sq. meter in they have the seating capacity of 6,000 people at a time with 2.48 million printed books in Chinese and foreign languages, 1.1 million e-books, 3200 kinds of newspapers and periodicals in foreign languages, and 48 million kinds of electronic newspapers etc.
Sports: - The institute has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the campus like 6 outdoor tennis courts, 2 sand beach volleyball Grounds, 40 Basketball and Volleyball Courts, a Roller-Skating Field, an Indoor Swimming pool and an Outdoor Swimming pool.
Labs: - The institute has a well-equipped lab in the campus with modern equipment and tools.
Computer lab: - The institute has a well-equipped computer lab on the campus with the latest computer machines and tools.
Gym: - The institute has a gym covering an area of 13,800m2 on the campus with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill.

HOSTEL

Hostel: - The university has 8 dormitories with the seating capacity of more than 40,000 students in which they are providing a well-furnished room with all the necessary amenities like bed, chair, mattress, air-conditioner, water heater, etc.

University distance from Hostel: - The distance between the hostel and university is about 3km.
Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in single, double, and triple sharing occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability.
Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room is there in every hostel.
Laundry room info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student of that hostel.
Kitchen info: - Every hostel is having two common kitchens which can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do.
Washroom and Toilet info: - There is an attached washroom and toilet in every room of the hostel.
Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are separate.
Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the students safety. Security staff is always there for the security of the students.
Indian Mess availability info: - Indian mess is available in the hostel in which they are providing healthy and nutritious food to students.
Gym info: - The university has a gym in the campus with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill, etc.

IMPORTANT NOTES

All students are expected to pay off fees on arrival, or will be unable to obtain resident permit. Advance Seat fees (6400 Yuan, which will be treated as part of tuition fee & registration fee when you register) need to deposit once admission letter issued, which is not refundable. Fees can be reviewed by JU according to the actual world economic situation every year.

Jiang Zelin is a Chinese politician, serving since 2015 as the Deputy Secretary-General of the State Council and chief of staff to Vice Premier Wang Yang. He previously held office as Communist Party Secretary of Sanya, vice governor of Hainan province, and executive vice governor of Shaanxi province.

Jiang chengyu

Jiang Chengyu, male, Han nationality, is a native of Changzhou City, Jiangsu province. He was born in 1947, graduated from Jiangsu Engineering University, and obtained a doctorate from the Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He is currently president of Northwestern Polytechnical University.
