European University, Georgia is an authorized higher education institution with the status of teaching MBBS as per the rules established by law and issue a certificate of qualification which is recognized by MCI and WHO. European University, gained the status of a teaching university for a period of 5 years by the decision of the Board of Authorization of Education Institutions on January 21, 2011 and by 2012, university was implanted 3 educational programs which include the Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, the Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy and the Master's Degree Program in Health Management. The marginal number of students was 246 students.
In European University 4 faculties operate which includes Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Business and Technology, Faculty of Law, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Students who have 50% marks and above in Physics, chemistry, Biology, and English are eligible to apply for MBBS studies at this university. For MBBS, they should be over 17 years of age according to the Medical Council of India (MCI) guidelines. NEET Qualifying Scorecard is mandatory for MBBS.
On January 18, 2016, the University of Europe has regained the status of teaching university for a period 5 years until 2021 and it is by the decision of the Board of Authorization of Higher Education Institutions. Higher education institutions, who are in the authorization of the Council of 13 December 2016, university students determine the maximum number of students in 1500 as per decision no 30 and the authorization of the Council of Higher Education Institutions 2019 of July 26, European university students determine the maximum number of 3000 students as per decision no 28.
