Founded in 1991 by its Rector - Prof. Teimuraz Koridze and the partners, David Aghmashenebeli University of Georgia (DAUG) is a state-accredited higher medical education institution in Tbilisi, Georgia. This MBBS university was established by the decision of the Georgian Government and the National Assembly of Georgia in 1991. This medical university has a complete system of academic and scientific departments meeting the requirements of modern educational technologies for medicine.
The University has a modern standard building, academic buildings, computer classrooms, an enlarged library with rich book funds and electronic resources, virtual simulation laboratory.
