Belarusian State Medical University

Belarusian State Medical University in Minsk (BSMU) is globally recognized, and the leading MBBS university in Belarus, which was established in 1921. It was initially a part of Belarusian State University, before becoming an autonomous university in 1930. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional medical groups. It is an institution of advanced MBBS education that trains medical specialists in numerous fields. It is considered as one of the most prestigious university in Belarus and a major centre of advanced learning and dynamic thinking for MBBS students. The University has formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good MBBS teaching staff. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of medical education, and it trains MBBS students with the help of updated education technology of medical study.

Belarusian State Medical University provides the best infrastructure for its MBBS students and best-in-class facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the university is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its medical students. All the study buildings of the university are equipped with well-furnished classrooms, study halls, seminar rooms. The university has 70 computer laboratories and 4 media classrooms. The institute has various other activity centres in the campus like gym, separate sports complex, etc. Belarusian State Medical University currently has more than 6500 students with over 880 academic staff. Among main partners of the Belarusian State Medical University is the Medical University in Bialystok (Poland), University of Western Ontario (Canada), the Karolinska Institute (Sweden), University of Nagasaki (Japan), University of Akita (Japan), Smolensk state medical Academy (Russia), Kazakh national medical University named after SD Asfendiyarava (Kazakhstan) and others.

Currently, Belarusian State Medical University concluded that there are more than 60 agreements on academic and scientific cooperation with foreign education institutions, research, and Ishim foreign organizations. More than 100 employees of departments of the university are members of a variety of foreign, public academies and other forms of representation.

Now, Belarusian State Medical University is actively introducing modern and effective educational technologies, constantly improving information support of the educational process. The university has a large selection of computer educational programs, rich electronic libraries, access to Internet medical sites.

• The required digital photograph above the shoulder in a white background. It should show a close up of your face and the top of your shoulders so that your face takes up between 70% - 80% of the face. (Kindly share clear scan copy over email ID provided by your counselor)
• Required 6 passport size photographs should be 35mm x 45mm in Width and Height over matt paper with a white background.

Library: - The institute has a large library with latest volumes, journals, and periodicals.

Sports: - The institute has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the campus like table tennis, basketball etc.

Labs: - The institute has a well-equipped lab in the campus with modern equipment and tools.
Computer lab: - The institute has a well-equipped computer lab in the campus with latest computer machines and tools.

HOSTEL

The university has 8 hostels on the campus in 4 of them are intended for accommodating foreign students. they are trying to give comfortable accommodation to all the hostel students. The university hostels are having a seating capacity of around 2000 students at a time. Following are some of the details of hostels: -

University distance from Hostel: - There are only 5 mins of walking distance in between the main campus of the university and the hostel.
Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in only twin sharing occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, and budget.
Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room is there in every hostel.
Laundry room info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student on that particular floor.
Kitchen info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common kitchen which can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do. Moreover, there is a common refrigerator is there for every two rooms.
Washroom and Toilet info: - There is a common washroom and a common toilet is there for every two rooms.
Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are not separate but each hostel having separate floors for both boys and girls.
Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for student safety.
Indian Mess availability info: - Indian mess is there in the hostels for the students and they are providing healthy and nutritious food to every student and staff.
Gym info: - The university has a gym in the campus with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill, etc.
