Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University established in the year 1934, situated in Almaty, Kazakhstan imparts MBBS education in English. Al-Farabi university is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional MBBS groups. It is also known as KZNU Kazakhstan. The government declared it as a “National” university in the year 2001. The university ranks 207th place in the rating of best universities in the world by QS World. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of MBBS education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the world market. In the system of higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is the leading institution who passed the state certification first time and also which has justified its right to realize academic activity on all specialties and at all levels.
The university is having 16 functioning faculties, 67 departments, 32 specific research institutes and centers, a techno-park, more than 2000 professors, doctors, scientific candidates and Ph.D.’s, more than 100 academicians of the largest academies, more than 40 honored figures of the Republic of Kazakhstan, about 40 laureates of State and nominal awards of RK and 40 laureates of the young scientists awards, 47 fellows of state scientific fellowships. In the university, at the multilevel system of higher professional education, more than 18000 students and masters are studying. Also, the university cooperates with 418 largest international universities of the world on the realization of joint international educational programs and exchange programs for students and internship.
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is offering a low-cost MBBS program. The academy is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. At the present time, the university successfully cooperates with more than 300 largest international universities of the world, and also the university is a member of International, European and Eurasian Associations of universities, the World Universities Consortium, etc.
The mobility of international academics became an important direction of the international activity of higher education institutions, which gained high-quality and dynamic development in recent years. Over 2000 students of KazNU annually take training and passing their language internships and scientific training in foreign establishments of science and education. Moreover, the university is also organizing foreign business trips annually for more than 600 faculty members and the administrative staff of the university to the international conferences, meetings by invitations of foreign higher education institutions and organizations to the CIS countries, Europe, North and South America, the Middle East, and Asia.
