INTRODUCTION

Belgorod State Medical University

Belgorod State Medical University comes in the ranking of 30 best national universities in 2012, following a study of 103 Russian state universities and 500 branches. All the major indicators of another stage of the National Research University Program were reached by the end of 2013 through which the university proved its national research university status and effectiveness. Belgorod State University consists several campuses in which central campus include 8 academic buildings, a research library, a publishing house, a museum of Belgorod State University history, a university newspaper editorial office, a Career Counseling Center, Youth Cultural Center, a dormitory, an apartment block for university faculty, St. Gabriel's University Church and an administrative building. The central campus provides facilities for professional training of future lawyers, philologists, translators, biologists, chemists, doctors, pharmacists, journalists, geologists, geographers, managers, economists, and programmers. All buildings of this campus were built at the beginning of the 20th century.

University offers programs for specialists, bachelors, and masters in 349 fields of studies and majors. Moreover, it also offers 26 areas of training and 349 educational programs for Ph.D. students and those pursuing the Doctor of Science degree. The Youth Cultural Center at Belgorod State University houses 16 amateur art groups for students. The Library System of the university includes 11 reading rooms which include three rooms with open access to the Library collection, 9 lending libraries, and over 1.2 million items in the Library collection. Also, the university has 9 museums which include Museum of Belgorod State University History; Museum of Forensic Science, Museum of Zoology, Museum of Forensic Medical Examination, Museum of the Faculty of History and Philology, Museum of the Department of Mining and Natural Resources Management, Museum of the Institute of Pedagogy, Museum of the International Office, and N. Strakhov Library and Museum. Moreover, the university has the University Clinic, the Equestrian School, the Botanical Garden, and Nezhegol Recreational Complex.

At present, the university is having 23000 students from all regions of Russian and more than 2500 foreign students from 80 countries. Moreover, there are 18 joint educational projects with top universities of Europe, Asia-Pacific Region. Also, it gives 3 Bachelor's and master's degree programs in English and over 160 agreements are going for international cooperation. There are 14 Associates and Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences and over 1112 Doctors and Candidates of Science. It consists of 7 Institutes, 3 Faculties, Medical College, and 1 branch. There are co-operational agreements for an internship with more than 800 enterprises and 19 core sub-departments and 103 sub-departments.

COURSE & ELIGIBILITY

Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved category) marks with PCB from any recognized board.
Admission will be on the basis of the marks obtained in the entrance exam (NEET).
NEET Cutoff (2020) - NEET Score must be for General Categories - 147 Marks & For Reserved Categories - 113 Marks

OTHER FACILITIES

Library: - The university has a library with a wide range of books, journals, and periodicals. The Library stock contains more than 1 million print volumes in 27 languages. The Library is open for more than 25 000 people from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. six days a week. You can request books in the Library through the Internet 24 hours a day.
Sports: - The institute has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities on the campus like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming pool, etc.

HOSTEL

The university has total 7 hostels in the university in which the university is providing well-furnished rooms with all the necessary facilities like a bed, mattress, cafeteria, WIFI Internet facility etc.. All dormitories provide conditions for living, studying and leisure. There are reading rooms, recreation rooms, gyms, sports grounds, a leisure center, Internet access. The hostels are available in only double and triple occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability. The university hostels having a total capacity of 3,739 students at a time. The hostels offers services like a cafeteria, gym, a meeting room on each floor, offices for sports clubs (table tennis, chess) and artistic societies, a rehearsal room, a conference hall to host different events and activities. The dormitory overlooks the University’s Chapel and Sports Complex.
