Tanta University, Egypt
Tanta university is an Egyptian university placed in Tanta city in Gharbia governorate. It separated as a university in 1972 after being a branch of Alexandria university since its established. It became separated primarily based on decree no. 1468 of 1962 that stipulated established of Faculty of Medicine in Tanta. It is recognized by MCI and many more international professional groups. The university provides education at the undergraduate level, graduate level, and post-graduate level. Now, faculties of the University are 14 as follows: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Science, Commerce, Law, Arts, Engineering, Education, Agriculture, Nursing, Specific Education, Physical Education, the Technical Nursing Institute, and Computer and Information and 37 special units.
It is an institution of advanced education that trains specialists in numerous fields of knowledge and completes research. It is considered as one of the most prestigious universities in Egypt and a major center of advanced learning and dynamic thinking. The University has formed into a huge scale, a well-managed comprehensive university with good teaching staff. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive, and flexible in the world market.
The university has a branch in Kafr ash Shaykh which was constituted in 1983. It has Education, Agriculture, Specific Education, Veterinary Medicine, Commerce, Engineering, and Arts faculties. In 2006, kafr ash shaykh branch separated from the tanta university to turn out to be an independent university under the name of kafr ash shaykh university in kafr ash shaykh city and it now has the education, Agriculture, Specific Education, Veterinary Medicine, Commerce, Engineering, Physical Education and Arts faculties.
The university is providing the best infrastructure for its students and the quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, libraries, modern classrooms, etc. Moreover, the university is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for its students. All the study buildings of the university are equipped with a well-furnished classroom, study halls, seminar rooms.
