Humanitas University
The Humanitas University is a private university dedicated to the medical sciences. Their campus is based in the municipality of Rozzano within the vicinity of the Humanitas Research Hospital. Humanitas University is the first private university in Italy to offer a six-year course in Medicine taught entirely in English. The Institute was established and legally recognized on the 20th of June 2014 by way of a decree signed by the Italian Minister of Education. The idea behind the establishment of this institute is to make education a fundamental right for every human being.

An agreement between Humanitas University and Benedictine College helps to provide medical students with an opportunity to conduct post-graduate studies in the United States. This agreement allows Humanitas students to take the US Medical License Examination Steps 1 and 2 which, in turn, makes them eligible for the medical residency programs that Benedictine College offers in the United States.
