INTRODUCTION

USMU was founded in 1920 as Sverdlovsk State Medical Institute. At that time, it had only one faculty – the Faculty of Medicine. In the years that followed, the university added new faculties, including the Faculty of Pediatrics, the Faculty of Dentistry, and the Faculty of Pharmacy. In 1993, the university was renamed Ural State Medical University.

The Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Ural State Medical University” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation was founded in 1930 as the Sverdlovsk State Medical Institute.

The university today is more than 7 thousand students, interns, residents, graduate students and trainees studying at 58 departments, 8 faculties and departments, 40 clinical bases in the best medical institutions, medical research institutes, bodies and institutions of Rospotrebnadzor, pharmacies of the city and region, in its own dental clinic. COURSE & ELIGIBILITY

The students applying for the MBBS course at Ural State Medical University must be below 25 years of age and more than 17 years of age.
The students must have scored 50% in their higher secondary.
The main subjects of the students are Physics, Chemistry, Biology in their higher secondary.
The students need to NEET-UG examination to take Ural State Medical University admissions.
The students’ overall academic career should be straightforward and in a good state.

HOSTEL

The Ural State Medical University provides international students with hostel facilities.
In a single room, maximum 3 students can get accommodated.
Block no 3 and block no 8 are residential type dormitories that are close to the academic buildings and present within the university campus.
Every student gets spacious rooms with bed, desks, side tables, and a refrigerator.
Students also get irons, ironing boards, vacuum cleaners, dryer racks, washing machines, etc. on a sharing basis.
In dormitory buildings, rest rooms are available for students on each floor.
There is a student canteen available at a reasonable rate near the hostel and also a cafe.
Students can also cook their own food.
Dormitories have 24x7 security for students’ safety.

IMPORTANT NOTES

The student has to submit their passport-size photographs at the University.
The candidates need to submit their academic mark sheets to the university.
The students also need to submit their original copy of their passport to the university.
The students need to submit a copy of their Aadhar card to the university
The students also have to submit a copy of their invitation letter and offer letter.
The students’ Bank Statement with a minimum balance.
The medical report of HIV positive/ negative.
The Covid-19 negative test report.
The full-body health report needs to submit.
