2020 Eligibility Criteria
National Testing Agency specifies the
detailed NEET 2020 eligibility criteria which must be met by each medical
applicant wishing to show up for the entrance exam. NEET is
a mandatory entrance exam for admissions in MBBS, BDS, and other medical
courses. NEET 2020 is a pen and paper exam which will be held on 3rd May 2020
by National Test Agency (NTA) in 154 cities across the country. Application
form is available from 2nd Dec 2019. Applicants can apply for NEET 2020 till
31st December 2019.

Qualifying Exam
|
Candidates should have passed their 10+2
or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as
core subjects from any recognised board. Candidates who are appearing for the
class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.

Minimum Age Requirement
|
Candidates must have completed 17 years
as on December 31, 2020.

Maximum Age Limit*
|
There is no upper age limit till the
Supreme Court passes its judgement on it.

Qualifying Marks
|
The marks are separate for each category
and can be listed as under. The marks to be considered are aggregate marks
only for PCB subjects
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%
|
Maximum Number of Attempts
|
There is no limit on the number of
attempts a student can take.
|
Nationality
|
Candidates who are Indian Nationals, NRIs,
OCIs, PIOs & Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.
